Meet Emma
I’ve always had a love for animals—especially dogs. I can’t remember a single moment in my life that my family or I didn’t have a dog, and I’m a firm believer that they simply make life better. My most trusted companions have always had four paws and mischievous, loyal hearts. It should go without saying that my current pack is my whole world.
Despite my passion for dogs, however, I hadn’t considered becoming a dog trainer… that is, until I saw it:
Unhappy dogs. Overflowing shelters. Frequented euthanasia tables.
Every day, an unthinkable number of dogs are surrendered to shelters, or worse, put down due behavioral problems that can be reasonably fixed with proper leadership and training. Not to mention the fact that many current dog owners experience stress and frustration related to their dog’s poor manners and obedience. This leads to dogs cooped up at home, frustrated, and unable to experience the life and adventure they (and their humans!) were made for.
Having experienced the amazing transformation proper training can have first hand with my own dogs (thanks to an amazing local trainer!), I decided to join the dog training crew to keep dogs out of shelters and out exploring the world with their favorite humans.
Trained and certified by Will Atherton’s Academy, I’m qualified to help you build a trusting bond between you and your dog that will improve confidence, manners, and obedience. I also believe that most of training dogs is actually training humans — my goal is to ultimately help you help your dog by increasing your confidence to lead your best friend.
